Who We Are
The Cecil Boswell Facey Foundation has since 1984 represented a unique fusion of family and corporate social responsibility by the Facey family and Pan Jamaica Group Limited respectively.
Pan Jamaica’s former chairman, the late Honourable Maurice Facey, O.J., J.P., created the Foundation in memory of his father Cecil Boswell Facey, a cornerstone of the Group of Companies.
Cecil was a man who believed that with every success, there was a duty to share same with those less fortunate. This belief filtered through to the very essence of Pan Jamaica — Jamaica’s leading holding corporation — which has for over 50 years remained committed to making sustainable and fiscally responsible investments in economic and social projects in Jamaica.
In 1984, the C.B. Facey Foundation was launched to support early childhood education starting with Lalyce Gray Basic School, Orange Hall and Union Basic schools, primary schools in the Orange Hall and Walkerswood area of St. Ann, and Boys’ Town in Kingston.
The Foundation has since then grown to support local initiatives grounded in Education, the Arts and the Environment.

We envision a nation where all stakeholders are invested in the national developmental goals that ensure Jamaica becomes the place of choice to live, work, raise families and do business.
Our Mission
We are on a mission to improve access and quality within the education sector and to ensure the preservation of our environmental and cultural treasures.
Areas of Support
Arts
We believe that the Arts serve as a catalyst to make our cities a destination for tourists, help attract and retain business, and play an important role in the economic revitalisation of communities.
We support the Arts through scholarships, grants and sponsorship, and expose students to various forms by attending plays, painting murals, and hosting art-based summer camps.
Education
Education is at the core of our giving. We support three partner schools and provide scholarships, grants, and projects that will provide future generations with the opportunities and tools needed to succeed.
Environment
Encouraging and enforcing the conservation of our island’s natural environment is essential to the sustained health and economic wellbeing of the Jamaican people. That is why we launched Jamaica Conservation Partners, a project of the C. B. Facey Foundation, in 2017 to provide grants to local organizations capable of actualizing lasting positive environmental impact.
